The GNMF is proud to announce Poker Night 2012!
Date: Saturday March 24th, 2012
Location:The Standard Hotel, Downtown Los Angeles
Time: 630 PM – ???
Dress code: Black tie
Fees: $100 including food, drinks and entry into the poker tournament! All proceeds to the Gary Norris Promise Award
Additionally, hotel rooms will be available at the standard hotel for a discounted rate, please indicate in your rsvp if you are interested

On March 26, 2011 the Gary Norris Memorial Foundation hosted a night of food, fun, friends and of course drinking at the Gary Norris Memorial Foundation Pub Golf event in Santa Monica. The event was an outstanding success with attendees coming from as far as Texas and Hawaii to pay tribute to Gary.
We celebrated two of Gary’s many passions traversing a 12-hole course through Santa Monica’s trendy bar district. With each bar providing a unique drink as its required “hole” GNMF supporters far and wide tried to down each drink in the fewest gulps possible.
After a fun-filled night in Santa Monica, the event closed with a hard-fought battle for first. In the end, Carl Magnuson fought off all challengers to win the title with a perfect 12 stroke game. The real winner of the night was the Gary Norris Memorial Foundation. As a direct result of the event the GNMF earned over $500! With this money and other generous contributions from supporters, the GNMF aims to offer a scholarship to a USC student in the 2011-2012 school year.
The Board of Directors of the Gary Norris Memorial Foundation would like to thank everyone that participated for their generous support. Through your efforts we will forever preserve Gary’s legacy. Thank You and Fight On!

Dear Friends of Gary,
On April 4, 2009 the world lost a great man, Gary Norris. Gary was many things to many different people, a loving son, a brother, a friend, a co-worker but most of all, a true USC Trojan. Only 27 years old, Gary left us much too soon and his loss impacted many people’s lives very deeply. In order to keep Gary’s generous spirit and love for his Alma Mater alive, a group of his friends from the University of Southern California have created the Gary Norris Memorial Foundation. The goal of this foundation is to celebrate and preserve Gary’s passion for his school, work, and life with both scholarships and contributions to promising young Trojan undergraduates and the organizations that he loved.
The foundation is an officially registered non-profit organization in the state of California, and is now reaching out to those whose lives were touched by Gary to help achieve this goal. If you would like to help support this scholarship fund you can donate in the following ways:

The inaugural GNMF Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, March 27th, 2011 in Los Angeles, CA
All participants welcome! The course is an executive 9-hole course enjoyable for beginners and pros alike. Guaranteed prizes, laughs and memories! Please email if you are interested in participating.
Additionally, the GNMF is thankful to Travis Mathew golf apparel company for sponsoring the event. We are proud to offer four different polos custom made for us by Travis Mathew with the GNMF logo.
